An exciting dimension to chorus life is quarteting. This particular art
form attracts those who want to get up close and personal with four
part harmony. A quartet involves four singers, a lead who sings the
melody line and three harmony parts. Those who quartet claim it to
be the purest form of barbershop. Quarteting may be the ultimate
challenge in singing because of the precision of the chord structures
and the responsibility of each singer to carry their part and ring
chords.
Prairie Gold Chorus is home to the well known quartet “A Touch of
Gold”. This awesome foursome consists of chorus members from
left to right, Helen Olinik, baritone Denise Lindenbach, lead, Pearl
Hodges, bass and Alison Tkach, tenor . “A Touch of Gold”
entertains publicly and brings humour, fun and those beautiful
barbershop chords to every performance. If you would like first rate
entertainment for your function or party, please contact Denise
Lindenbach @ 789-2272.
